How should i put makeup on my horrible eyes? picture included.?

i have the smallest nastiest eyes. any ideas on how to give them a makeover?

I can tell you what i do.





Dead simple, a thin line of liquid mascara on bottom and lower lids and mascara on the lashes.





Bit of concealer on blemishes and a bit of lip gloss.

Your eyes are not horrible woman!





If you are looking for a trick to make them look bigger, use eyeliner on the top of your eyelids and on the bottom of your eyes too, with a little mascara for added sparkle.





Using liquid on the top is best as you get a more even distribution, and a pencil is best for the bottom as it is just easier to put on and you don't get it in your eyes like you would with a liquid. Also, just wear a shadow that matches with what you wear.

You actually have very pretty eyes :D! But in order for them to appear bigger you want to use dark tones of eyeliner to line the entire top lash line and lightly on the bottom lash as well. Eyelashes are also a great eye opener so begin by curling your eyelashes with an eyelash curler and then applying mascara in a way so that it fans out. Next is your eyeshadow which shouldn't be so dramatic,( surprise surprise this wont make your eyes stand out ) instead keep it really simple on all your lid up to your brow (e.g light brown) then use a darker tone (e.g dark brown) and focus on the crease of your lid. Also make sure you use concealer around your eyes as black eyes can make your eyes appear smaller. Lastly, think about the shape of your eyebrows. Your eyes will seem smaller and closer together if you have brows that are too close together or heavy.

First of all you do NOT have nasty eyes!


Here's a few tips that i have used over the years because i myself suffer with the shrinking eye syndrome and always want them to be noticed.


1. Don't overdo the eyeliner, there is such a thing as too much and you don't want to swamp your eyes. A thin layer is enough if using a darker pencil/liquid.


2.When applying your mascara make sure to apply a few extra coats to the lashes furthest from your nose on either side. This will cause them to flick out further, making your eyes look much bigger.


3. Use lighter colours of eyeshadow closest to your nose then progress in levels of darkness, or you can do the same the other way by applying lighter shades on your actual eyelids and then progresses upwards.


4. Always make sure that underneath your eyes is really light, apply a concealer or illuminator if necessary, dark circles only make your eyes look smaller.

Here's what you do:


1) Get some black eyeliner pencil and line your eyelid along the top lash on both eyes





2) Apply eyeliner underneath the eye as well as inside the eye (not to mush or you will end up looking like a panda :P)





3) Get a cotton bud and rub some brown eye shadow onto it, and apply to top eyelid.





4) Get the cotton bud and apply some more eye shadow underneath the eye just like you would with eyeliner.





It really works for me... :)

In the meantime, go volunteer someplace. Soup kitchen, animal shelter, recycling center, find a way to read to the blind, teach an adult to read. Pitch in at a day-care center.Whatever meets your interest and ability. Your parents will be proud of you, you may meet new friends, your existing friends will raise their opinion of you, you will earn points toward your first job or your college application, and you will feel better about yourself. You cannot beat that for a return on your investment of 2 hours a week. And you won't be so self-absorbed.

right , here goes -


first, whenever you wash your face, let the water run REALLY cold and wet the towel and dab it under your eyes OR put a ice cube in a thin towel and keep that on your under eye to reduce puffyness.... less puffy eyes = big eyes!


you need to use a pale pinky cream / white eyeline on the inside of your eyes to make them look bigger ( at the bottom though)


then, use a dark brown or black to line your bottom eyelid on the outside. when your done, use one of those cheap eyeshadow applicators to smudge your dark eyeliner OUTWARDS. it helps if you kind of pull your skin out. then use alooooooooooooot of layers of mascara on your top and bottom lashes!


also, use a pale, shimmery colour in the inner corner of your eye and a darker one righ on the outside corner!


buy cheap makeup from like those scuzzy shops that people say they dont go to ;) and practise at home!

you skin is perfect 2 you have notthing to worry about but if you want to wear make up i reccomend a thin line of liquid eyeliner flicked out and lots of mascara you've got lovely high eyebrows so big long eyelashes will look stunning!

Don't put yourself down- you may not have amazing eyes but your skin is flawless, nd your hair looks amazing!





use white eyeliner on your inner rims, and only thin black eyeliner on the outer parts, flicking to make them look bigger





use light eyeshadow, and highlighter under your brow bone, all of these things will make your eyes appear bigger.





try to draw attention away from your eyes, so no bright colours, big up your lips instead with funky colours.

I think you have lovely eyes, don't beat yourself up! You are perfect the way you are but a little eyeshadow, liner and mascara always improves upon nature! ;-) Go along to department store and get the make-up ladies to do you a demo with their products and you'll see what works for you.

and your eyes should be lined, pencil first if u want go for dark greens, dark blues or black, there is a green shimmer 1 at body shop. so line the pencil in the inside of your eye bottom and then lightly at the top of your eye but not inside. where the lashes are. the go over the top of you eye a bit darker with liquid liner. here's a pic: http://www.cosmeticbeautysalon.com/actphoto9cltel.jpg/actphoto9cltel-full.jpg is the second picture.

your lucky! My eyes are big and I got made fun of all the time. When I was in grade two some guy in grade three said'; I'm gonna beat you up and you know why?'; I shook my head no and then he said ';because you got big eyes!'; I don't think there is anything wrong with your eyes. Even celebrities have ';flaws';. Don't worry so much!
you are so pretty. your eyebrows are perfect by the way. haa but to make your eyes appear bigger use an eyelash curler, put very black mascara on them, line your eyes with black/brown...i use eyeshadow for eyeliner because it stays on longer. um stick to colors that will look good on your skin tone.
I think I have quite small eyes too..


but they key to get them looking bigger is mascara, a lot of it!


try not to put liner on the inner lash line, makes them look smaller..


and use liquid liner on your upper lash line, and then on then ends, create a little flick.. well that's what I do and it really works!
Try black eyeliner that gets thicker as it gets to the end. And volumizing /thickening mascara. Trust me , this works.





Never put on too much eyeliner on the bottom lid though, it makes your eyes look way smaller.

lots of mascara and eyeliner on your upperlid non on the bottom if you want them to look bigger...also add some berry colored blush to your cheeks not to much and it will bring out the whites in your eyes making thme look bigger
you have lovely peepers use a white eyeliner at the bottom lashes near the root, a neutral eyeshaow all over the lids and curl your eyelashes perfect peepers
